MEET LIZ GAVIN! by John Fioravanti

Welcome to Rave Reviews Book Club’s Bethany Turner “Pay It Forward” Week, Day Two!!

It is my great pleasure, on this day, to host my good friend, Liz Gavin! Recently, Liz was appointed to the Board of Directors at Rave Reviews in the role of Administrative Assistant 2 to President Nonnie Jules. Since she joined the club, Liz has been one of our most supportive members. Liz is such a sunny personality that she always lights up any place she enters. Our members often meet her on the Website as she responds to their comments about books they’re reading and reviewing – always with warmth and generosity.

In the past few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of working with Liz as we launch Rave Waves, the BlogTalkRadio show of Rave Reviews. Liz is one of our regular hosts, and her show, Beyond The Cover, will air every second Saturday of the month at 12:00 Noon CST. As well, Liz will participate, along with our other three hosts, in  our Author Scoop show which airs at the same time on the final Saturday of each month. In Beyond The Cover, Liz will interview many supportive and interesting members from our Tweet Support Team, our VIP Lounge, as well as others. Treat yourself and listen in to this very interesting lady!

About Liz:

I was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Although I’ve never moved, I travel as often as I can, which allows me to learn about different places, people, and cultures. This suits me perfectly. I’m fascinated by knowledge.

Having published my first short-story in September 2013, writing is new to me, but books have been a source of nourishment since I learned how to read. My idea of Heaven is an endless library. No, seriously, I mean it! You can find Luck of the Irish, my second novel, as well as the complete list of my books on my blog, under Liz Gavin’s Books. I don’t want to offend myRRBC fellow members, so I have to warn you that part of my writing falls under the erotica genre and might not suit your taste.

Wrapping up, let me explain the picture I chose to illustrate this bio because it conveys my feelings about RRBC. Before the jokes start popping up in the comments below, I must say I didn’t mean the buzz. So, forget the glasses of margarita and concentrate on the big picture – (pun intended). I’m clearly having fun with friends who, even though you can’t see, you know are there beside me. There you have it – RRBC’s essence. A group of awesome people you will probably only know through cyberspace but who will support you in every way they can, and even though you don’t see them, you know they’re there for you, watching your back. Do I dare compare RRBC members to Guardian Angels? Well, I’ll leave that to you!

Hi Liz, sorry I’m just seeing your blog post for the BT Pay It Forward Week. I do have your book and I do remember hosting you once. I think you were new to RRBC or I just didn’t know you very well then. But I know you now and you are doing a fabulous job on the RRBC website. So if anyone is deserving of this, it is you. Congratulations. Now don’t you all forget to hop on over to my blog tour which started today courtesy of 4WillsPublishing. Have a beautiful day.

Wow, that’s really a great piece. Liz, it’s fun to learn a little more about what makes you tick. John, I love the “Look Inside” parts of your post. I need to learn how to do that. Lol
