RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB: CELEBRATING A WOMAN: by John Fioravanti

Rave Reviews Book Club, founded in December, 2013, was the brainchild of the club’s President and hardest working member, Nonnie Jules. This month, we celebrate women in our society who make significant contributions, whether they work from home or outside the home. They are mothers, wives, workers in all walks of life and in greater numbers today, they have assumed leadership positions in every career imaginable. Many of these leaders are making a difference every single day.

Nonnie Jules is one of these leaders! Each day, she wears many hats as a wife and mother to two (almost perfect) daughters. She presides over one of the largest and most influential international book clubs, and she administers the independent publishing company, 4WillsPublishing. In addition, Nonnie Jules is an accomplished poet, writer of books and a blogger as well. Through her publishing company, Nonnie arranges blog tours for author members at reduced rates. As well, this very talented woman has produced an amazing collection of book trailers for her own books and those of clients. (Click on the book covers above and below to watch two of her amazing book trailers!)

As an Indie writer/publisher, I joined RRBC in July, 2014. By November, Nonnie invited me to work alongside her and the Board of Directors as Membership/Incentives Director. Since then, I have had the unique opportunity to observe Nonnie daily as she works so tirelessly to carry out the mission she founded this club upon: to PROFILE, PROMOTE & PROPEL the careers of Indie authors through book sales, book reviews, as well as name recognition.

Nonnie Jules puts in monster hours every week to make sure the club is growing and performing its work as well as humanly possible. She embodies the principle that service to others comes first, so much so in fact, her own writing has been neglected to some degree. My admiration for her intellect, work ethic, drive, determination, courage, and humanity are boundless. I don’t get paid for what I do in the club, but I often feel that I should be paying for the privilege of working with this incredible woman.

No other club I know of supports Indie authors like this one. We are a literary community who support each other in social media, we buy each other’s books and leave honest reviews. We are not rivals! We help each other with advice about better writing, about marketing techniques, and encourage each other to keep working at our careers. We celebrate each others’ successes! Each week and each month, the club promotes authors who are being supportive of other authors. At Rave Reviews, what goes around, comes around… and Nonnie Jules guarantees that!

If you are an Indie author, I encourage you to visit the website, see for yourself, and then join us! If you’re an avid reader, you will find some incredible reads in our author member collection – under just about every genre. I encourage you to discover the delights of Indie support at Rave Reviews Book Club led by the incomparable Nonnie Jules! As the Membership Director, I will have the privilege of extending to you a very warm Rave Reviews welcome!

She sure deserves to be propelled and celebrated. She is a leader; one who is graciously firm in her decisions, and just in her rulings. I doff my hat to you Nonnie, and pray you continue to wax stronger and stronger. Thank you John for selecting her as the woman to be celebrated.

John, this was so unexpected, but the absolute most wonderful surprise ever! I can think of many women who you could have chosen for this very special honor, but I thank you for considering me in that number. There are just no words as to how much this truly means to me. I guess it contradicts that old saying “No good deed goes unpunished.” Today, I feel so rewarded. Thank you, again!
